Funnybones Expands Mexican Food Range with New Taquitos
Funnybones has released two new flavours of taquitos to expand their range of appetisers.
Translating into “small taco”, taquitos are miniature corn tortillas, rolled around a filling then fried to result in a crispy exterior.
Two Flavours to Choose From
Our version uses the more popular flour tortilla, still rolled around a filling, and we are launching with medium-spiced Fajita Chicken – diced chicken, bell peppers, and onion, coated in the vibrant zing of fajita spices – and vegetarian-friendly hot Jalapeno Cheese – featuring a blend of creamy, stretchy cheese and herbs, with punchy green jalapeno.
These can be served singularly and with great hot hold characteristics, are perfect for grab and go offers. Serve in pairs as a starter or light bite, or as many as you want as part of a sharer. Accompany with one of our many sauces, dips, or home-made seasoned mayonnaises. We suggest our Redpepajam with the Jalapeno Cheese or Premium Guacamole with the Fajita style Chicken.
